東村在下城的，和格林威治村非常的近的。這也是一個比較有藝術氛圍的地方，從格林威治村過來也是一會兒的功夫的，年輕人比較多的地方，和華爾街是完全不同的感覺

東村在曼哈頓的下城的，這是一個比較有藝術范的地方的，周圍都是三四樓的房子的，舊舊的但很有藝術的氛圍，吸引很多藝術創作的藝術家在這裏搞創作的。
