大佛禪院條評論

大佛禪院，是樂山峨眉山中途，一座新修建的大型佛教寺廟，建築規模相當宏大，從正門大殿到內部延伸，層層遞進，每一座大殿的規模都不小，內部也有提供禪修的住宿，用餐時間嚴格按照寺廟的作息安排，非常清凈的一處地方。

大佛禪院位於四川省樂山市峨眉山市佛光南路274號，佔地400餘畝，建築面積5萬6千多平方米，現為國家4A飯景區。禪院始建於明代，擁有多重大殿，140多間禪房，供奉一尊12米高的千手千眼觀世音菩薩銅像。景區內分為朝拜區有牌坊、大光明街、山門、孔雀明王殿？彌勒佛、地藏殿、藥師殿、文殊殿、觀音殿？普賢殿、大雄寶殿、藏經樓、巨型照壁、光明山等十一進院首組成，十一級平台落差33米，氣勢磅礴。公共園林區奇花名樹和三個放生池，理想休閑場所。文化教育區有佛學院、大光明講堂、圖書館等佛教人才培訓基地。
