萬國教堂位於耶路撒冷的錫安山上，據聖經記載這裏曾經是耶穌在是最後的晚餐后，曾獨自到這裏像上帝祈禱，而之後就在這裏被士兵抓住，而這周圍的橄欖樹曾是當年的鑒證，所以萬國教堂邊有一片橄欖樹林。
