I went there in January 2016 because the exhibition of cultural relics unearthed at Changgan Temple in Jinling has been withdrawn, and the admission ticket has been reduced from 60 yuan to 25 yuan. There are exhibitions in several halls of Chaotian Palace. It's easy to miss them when you go in between. Facing the Dacheng Hall, the right-hand side hall is the tourist center. You can get free travel brochures and rent free voice interpreters. Facing Chongsheng Temple, Nanjing Museum is on the left. The exhibits are not as exquisite as Nanjing Museum. But if you know the story behind the exhibits, it is still interesting. The best thing is that there is a room on the second floor where old black and white movies like "Crow and Sparrow" are broadcast freely and continuously. The door of the Jade Hall Exhibition on the third floor is relatively hidden, and there are treasures of the town hall. There are many grandparents outside the Chaotian Palace basking in the sun with their quilts. Compared with the tall Nanjing Museum, there is a humanistic atmosphere of grounding.
