Located on the coast of Haihe River. It's 40 meters high. It's a metal structure. Its shape is very unique. The core and clock pointer are made by hollowing out the flower stalls, which is simple and elegant. The heavy forged copper base is covered with large and small gears, chains and huge steel screws and rivets, which are in contrast to the ancient Liberation Bridge. Clocks and watches, long rods, gears and bases constitute a perfect space-time shape. The relief sculpture of 12 constellations around the clock dial of the century is based on the original story. Aries is at the top of the 12 o'clock section, because sheep represent good luck in China; Libra is at the bottom of the 6 o'clock section, because the scale represents fairness. All these reflect the idea of blending foreign cultures with local cultures in the arrangement, and also resemble the temperament of Tianjin, a city that integrates Chinese and Western cultures.
