報恩禪寺條評論

這是溧陽名寺——報恩禪寺。報恩寺之名，系取自《佛說心地觀經》和《大方便佛報恩經》中報“父母恩、眾生恩、國土恩、三寶恩”。這座禪寺始建於南朝梁武帝天監年間（公元502——519年），寺原址在溧陽城西北25公里處的舊縣村。后又幾經興廢易名， 1994年，寺廟遷於天目湖畔，充分利用天目湖畔東陵山麓的自然環境，建造成為了一座具有小乘佛教泰國寺院建築風格、並融合中國大乘佛教文化特色的新報恩禪寺。報恩禪寺的建築布局還是傳統中式風格，坐北朝南。主殿沿中軸而建，建有山門、天王殿、觀音殿、大雄寶殿、伽藍殿、泰國銅佛殿、玉佛殿等，寺外池中還有一尊雙面鍍金觀音。報恩禪寺，從周邊地貌來看，宛若一張太師椅，後面山頭如太師椅靠背，左右兩邊的山崗如太師兩側的扶手。

Located in the northwest corner of Tianmu Lake, Baoen Chan Temple is situated across the lake from Tianmu Lake Landscape Park and Hantan Resort. It is a temple full of Thai customs. Overlooking Baoen Chan Temple, if it weren't for the distant stone bridges and Chinese ancient buildings, I'm afraid it would be a real illusion to be in Thailand. Liyang Baoen Chan Temple sits in the north and South dynasties. According to the pattern of the North-South axis, it has mountain gates, Tianwang Hall, Guanyin Hall, Jade Buddha Hall, Thai Bronze Buddha Hall, Tibetan Hall, Kalan Hall, Daxiong Palace, etc. Among them, the most magnificent building in the temple is the Daxiong Palace. The eaves are curved and pointed, all pointed toward the sky, full of upward movement. There is a double-sided Guanyin in the pool outside the temple. It has a kind eyebrow and good eyes, and it is quite an image. The Buddhist Temple of Baoen is situated in the picturesque Tianmu landscape, which itself is also a very beautiful scenery. If you have the opportunity to travel to Tianmu Lake, you might as well drop in and visit this Thai-style temple.
