On weekend evenings the restaurant is given over to a sort of pop-up Ethiopian restaurant. Chicken tibs is good, vegetable dishes are fine. Nothing out of the Ethiopian ordinary, and not really a destination, but the woman who served us was pleasant and obliging, and since I’m often in the neighborhood I’ll definitely go back. I’d call it a little pricey, but that’s California for you.

And they also have vegetarian sausages and burgers. All prepared to your liking. My favorites are the German sausage with sauerkraut and brown mustard and the Thai spicy sausage with jalapeños.
