Nice place overall, if you go for the wine and go light on the food. Good wine selection at good prices, with some interesting selections. But.... in our party of three, every one of us thought that the chef had a heavy hand with the salt shaker.

This was my first experience with a tasting menu, and I was not disappointed. I was in Philly for a conference and wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to check out Laurel (mainly bc I am a Top Chef fan).

We constantly have great meals at this small restaurant that always serves excellent, well prepared food quickly and efficiently. An extensive menu with so many options, it is hard to select a favorite because it is all fantastic.

We had special lo mein fried noodles which was quite good. The chicken noodle soup was rather plain and that is why the in whole it got the average mark. Nice people and atmosphere
