Malaga Nostrum, even for a single night before the airport is a sad affair. Sad wornout rooms. The bed light does not work and All other lights only can be turned on and off from the door, so you have to stand up from bed to turn it off. Noise all night partly from some extraction and partly from party / music. Breakfast that costs 8 euro p. is partly pre-produced products that are almost just packed out of plastic, and no live cooking as advertised. Also, it does not fill up when empty. Find another hotel! It's really bad value, because it is not a cheap stay. We did sleep here sine years ago, this will unfortunately be the last time...

Great location in the beach. Lots of nice restaurants and bars near by. Pleasant staff. Rooms needed to do what the did (a bed for the night) breakfast average. Was not there long enough to use the pool or the facilities. Would stay again as it’s a great base to travel to nearby areas. Almeria was about 20 mins in the car.

My family stayed two nights in this hotel on a tour of Alhambra Palace. The outside common area of the hotel, including the dining room, was very well maintained and could deserve a 5-star rating. The rooms inside were a different story. We occupied two rooms. One was a “superior deluxe room,” and the other was a “classic city-view double room.” Both had the same price tag. The deluxe room was spacious and well-lit but had an odd arrangement with a useless bathtub in the center. Moreover, the room smelled of sewage when we entered the room—which I notified the management. They disagreed and claimed there was no sewage smell. I did not appreciate the response, as all four of our family members smelled of sewage. Nor did I escalate the issue, as our stay was short. The city-view room had a small window overlooking the city without much viewing space. The room was tiny, with two twin beds packed in the room, and was poorly lit. It felt like being in a prison cell. The shower doors in both rooms did not close fully, so the water splashed out. In short, both rooms were substandard and did not deserve the price tag at all. My recommendation to travelers is to stay elsewhere, and if you need to stay there, avoid the small “city-view” rooms and Deluxe Room #331 that smells of sewage. I got to love Spain and its people who are very friendly and helpful, but not this hotel.

Hotel Nieves is apparently a three star hotel which surprised us when we saw our room. The room was quite small as was the bathroom. The room had no refrigerator nor safe nor kettle. The hotel had no cafe, bar or restaurant. It obviously has one once. The room had a wardrobe but lack hooks for hanging up outdoor clothes. The bathroom had no shelf for wash bags and no hooks for clothes or towels apart from those built into the towel rack, which are not really useable. The shower was good, but the bar whereby the head can be attacked to the wall was loose. The shower cubicle had no where to hang shower gel or soap. Hotel lacks attention to detail, management need to stay in their own rooms and they will see what can be improved. The hotel is very well located although local car parking is possible it is expensive and very tight manoeuvring a large car, although we did find some large spaces available at lower levels. Overall I would rate this as an acceptable 2 star hotel not too expensive ina good location. As my wife said if this is 3 star hotel then she is a ballerina!

Es la segunda vez que nos alojamos aquí. El precio bien, el poder llevar a nuestra mascota gratis también bien, cerca de la playa de Valdelagrana genial. Lo malo en esta segunda ocasión ha sido que estando el hotel bastante desalojado dada las fechas que eran, nos pusieran en una habitación junto al lado de chavales de 18-20 años que se dedicaron durante horas a hacer mucho ruido dentro de la habitación, molestando a las de al lado. Se comunicó en recepción un par de veces y tras la segunda vez, el chico de recepción tomó medidas y se calmó la cosa. Por fin pudimos descansar bien, pero he de decir que la organización del hotel tuvo falta de previsión.

Lovely hotel! Very clean and spacious family room. Waiters very froendly and service is great. The animation team 10/10 the varaity show was excellent and very profesional. Pool area is great for the kids!

Un hostal muy recomendable. La situacion es bastante buena. A 5min andando de la playa, 20 min andando del centro. Taxi a Puerto Sherry sobre 6-7 euros. El trato genial. Fueron super amables con nosotros. Nos dieron todo tipo de facilidades y detalles. Nos sentimos la verdad que muy comodos y agradecidos. Aunque un poco antiguo ya, estaba super limpio y los colchones para mi eran muy comodos. Quizas las almohadas si que las cambiaria ya, asi como el aire acondicionado que hace bastante ruido. Eramos 4 amigos y estabamos en dos habitaciones en la planta baja que se comunicaban, por lo que era perfecto para estar juntos y a la vez tener tu propia intimidad tambien. Una de las habitaciones tenia ademas una pequena nevera. Tiene tambien una pequena piscina y servicio de bar. El cafe rico, abundante y te lo ponen con magdalenas. Como aspecto negativo, el precio es algo excesivo. Al final es un hostal pequeno de 2 estrellas, pero es Puerto, era un finde de Agosto y poca opcion teniamos. Tiene un garaje muy pequeno por 5 euros el dia. Recomendable aunque a veces complicado para meter el coche, la entrada es bastante estrecha y hay que tener mucho cuidado.
