A Night Around Tokyo Station – Rooftop Views & Late-Night Bites
#cityplaybook
Tokyo Station isn’t just for catching trains—it’s also a stunning place to explore after dark. With its glowing red-brick facade, sleek skyscrapers, and hidden food gems, the area transforms into a nighttime wonderland.
I started the evening at the KITTE Rooftop Garden, where you get one of the best views of the station lit up against the skyline. It’s calm, romantic, and totally free—a must if you’re into city lights.
From there, I wandered through the nearby high-rise buildings. The reflections, the pace, the people—it all feels a bit cinematic at night.
And let’s talk food. Inside KITTE, Zagin serves up rich, comforting ramen that’s perfect after a long day. Their creamy chicken-based broth is next level. For dessert, I popped into Jiichiro Café for their freshly made pancakes. Warm, fluffy, and slightly crisp on the outside—exactly what I didn’t know I needed.
Why I recommend Tokyo Station at night:
・The contrast between classic architecture and modern towers is stunning under city lights
・You’ll find amazing food, hidden rooftops, and a peaceful side of Tokyo most people miss
