You’ve got a little bit of everything here: buzzing local markets, chill cafes, funky shops, and enough temples and museums to keep things interesting without overloading your brain. The big Buddha Dordenma statue? Massive and epic. The viewpoint from up there? Chef’s kiss. Thimphu mixes tradition and modern life in a way that feels really natural, monks with smartphones, locals in gho and kira just vibing at weekend markets, all while surrounded by forested hills. The vibe here is super peaceful, way less touristy than other spots, so you can really take it all in. Plus, the locals are insanely kind, and the food? #springitinerary The Drubchen festival commemorates the Bhutanese army defeating the Tibetan army in Punakha almost 400 years ago. Legend says that during the siege of Punakha, the first Chief Abbott of Bhutan (the man who unified the country) pretended to throw important relics that the Tibetans sought into the river, causing their army to end the siege. During the festival, locals dressed like soldiers from both armies spend the day dancing, riding horses, and attempting to threaten the other army. It all culminates in the current head monk of Punakha going to the same riverside and throwing relics (which are actually just ordinary oranges) into the river where young kids fight each other to take home a blessed orange, while the “Tibetan soldiers” on the other side of the river despair. Such a neat and interesting way to commemorate an important event in Bhutan’s history. The following day came the Tsechu festival, which seemed to have a party type atmosphere. I have no idea what the festival was about (my guide might have told me, but I certainly don’t remember). I think that’s because I couldn’t get over the Atsaras, masked men who carry giant wooden phalluses whose job is the entertainment the crowd. They do this by dancing, pretending to fight each other, and “attacking” women in the crowd with their giant phalluses. Apparently it’s an honor and a blessing to be “attacked” in this manner during the festival. Everyone seemed to be enjoying it, especially the masked men with the phalluses. Such a cool experience.

亦寺廟亦酒店，好運buff拉滿｜ZhiwaLing🇧🇹 在不丹的幾天，去了很多家酒店 對於一個挑剔且敏感的酒店人來講，不丹的奢華酒店給我最大的感受之一就是：Bhutanese hospitality is next level ! 這家是在帕羅的芝華林遺產酒店，芝華林是不丹本地的酒店品牌，在首都廷布還有一家 對於一家酒店的核心，我覺得最繞不開的就是人，舉個例子來講，酒店的硬件某種程度決定了它的出生家庭生長環境，但軟件決定了它會以怎樣的姿態長大，以及成為什麼樣的人 這次來到不丹帕羅的芝華林酒店，除了被酒店的美學深深震撼，也深深的為酒店的團隊感到讚嘆 一窗一景，一步一禪，歲月靜好 酒店是全套房設計，一共45間房，洗浴備品用的是他們自己的品牌，一共四家F&B outlet, 水療中心，健身房游泳池，室外湯泉，冥想室，一應俱全 逛酒店的時候正好遇到了酒店的管理層團隊，邀請我過去喝咖啡吃下午茶，在和酒店負責市場營銷的小姐姐聊天我問她說：你們在中國主要合作的旅行機構是哪家，主要推廣渠道是哪裡，我好想把你們的酒店介紹給更多來不丹旅行的人！ 員工介紹酒店在口罩期間重新進行了翻修，還加了電梯哈哈，去參觀了酒店的45號房，聽說是很多皇室和仁波切也住過的房間，酒店更是把佛堂直接搬進了房間裡，在這裡安靜的坐上一會，都覺得有不可思議的加持力量，酒店的三層也有一間佛堂，在酒店的各處一些古董的陳設讓客人也與時間的痕跡緊緊相連 人生是一次次無常的醒來，希望每一位住在這裡的客人都能感受到吉祥與喜樂

昨天看電視紀錄片 有一個女孩子喜歡拍蘑菇 拍了許多蘑菇的生長視頻 非常驚豔！ 帶著好奇，我們也踏上了採蘑菇的旅程！ 蘑菇的品種真的有特別多， 可食用、藥用或不可食用的， 其中，松茸是最常見的， 味道也是特別的鮮美， 還有雞油菌、香菇和平菇等。 第一次知道冬蟲夏草也是菌菇哦？ 要從毛毛蟲的頭部尋找這些寄生的超級菌類。真菌寄生在幼蟲體內，吸收其營養長成。因為只生長在海拔很高的地方，十分稀有和難以採摘。 除了中國雲南的菌菇遠近聞名， 還會黑龍江元蘑，吉林紅磨，遼寧榛磨， 新疆巴楚菇，泌陽花菇… 我們把這些蘑菇採回來， 除了燒蘑菇湯， 還做了小雞燉蘑菇呢！ 在不丹每年8月15日至16日在吉內卡（Genekha）舉行的松茸節。 吉內卡距離廷布約 45分鐘車程。 此外，每年8月23日至24日，布姆唐的烏拉（Ura），距離廷布約8小時車程，也會舉辦蘑菇節。節日期間將舉辦一系列體驗和活動，包括蘑菇採摘、美味蘑菇宴、當地人的文藝表演以及遊客也可參與的當地體育活動。
