It is so called because it covers a large area compared to a Small Circle, and includes the temples of Prea Khan, Ta Som, Pre Rup, Neak Pean and some others. Basically, all of them are represented in the northeast of the main highlights - the temple of Angkor Wat, Bayon and the royal city of Angkor Thom. To travel in a Big circle, you need to hire a tuk-tuk driver in Siem Reap, or as ab alternative you can rent a motorbike or bike.
The Great Circle of Angkor is a 35 km long route that involves getting to know all the nearby temples of Angkor in Cambodia. They are called neighbors, since you will not have to drive far from the city of Siem Reap.
Unlike a Small circle, a Large circle is very flexible. It is assumed that a tourist who has already visited the temples of Angkor, which are part of the Small Circle, will want to see the rest of the sights of Angkor the next day.
