Not too bad, apart from the construction going on in the hallways on our floor and longer walks to the lift and exit stairs, breakfast is reasonable, nice lady Honey, the breakfast staff nice staff, reception staff is good, room is good. Nice view.
Very nice experience, everyone friendly. Rooms looked newly renovated and clean. Only downside was the pool and sauna was closed down and no longer available, trip photos show pool and spa but be warned this is now close for the foreseeable future.
Nice hotel, clean and well kept, the staff are also really helpful, it’s in a good location in terms of being central and close to town, however is near a busy road so you do hear the cars, not majorly so, but you’re definitely aware. It had a small well equipped gym, what you’d expert for a hotel one, and the restaurant/lounge area was nice, I didn’t have any food but the coffee was good. Overall a good hotel at a decent price, I’d stay there again.
訪訪客An excellent short stay in this B&B situated above a tea room in the village of Bonsall.
Check-in is a small window of 2 hours between 2 and 4 pm but it does state that you can organise late check-in if you are stuck. Best to avoid the area around the Heights of Abraham when traveling in at the weekend as it gets very busy.
We were there just to check out the area for walking and it suited our needs perfectly. The owner greeted us and made sure we settled in and as a bonus, the tea room was still open to allow us to sample their delicious cakes before unpacking. We went to the Kings Head pub for dinner which is a 3-minute walk up the hill and I must say it was a good choice. Another place with great hospitality with a mix of locals and visitors but more importantly good honest grub.
Breakfast was probably one of the best we have ever had at a B&B it was plentiful and there was no compromise on quality, perfect to fuel us for another day on the hills.
Thank you for hosting us and giving us good value for money in an excellent location to explore the Peak District National Park.

SSuehoney100Extremely hot room and no fans to offer guests. Soft and uncomfortable bed. Only 1 bath towel in a double room. Asked for another bath towel to be delivered to room and was given 3 hand towels 🤷🏼♀️

訪訪客Breakfast is not really included as such. Only the continental buffet. This is cereal, fruits, cereal bars, baked items and a large selection of cakes, including mince pies, which was odd for breakfast. The hot breakfast requires a surcharge to be paid, something I’ve never experienced before. The full English would be best described as part English breakfast, with no sausages, tomatoes, or mushrooms included which is a bit of an insult when you’re paying a surcharge. I can’t fault the service, or anything else, but this felt a bit naughty to be doing.
