C’est 5/5 pour le lodge et le personnel et 1/5 pour la réserve animalière. Ça fait donc une moyenne de 3/5. Le lodge est magnifique avec une vue incroyable. Les chambres sont parfaites. Le personnel et les repas sont excellents. Par contre , la réserve dite big five est décevante, du moins les deux jours où nous y étions : en faisant 3 safaris en deux jours, des big five, nous n’avons vus que 3 rhinos ! Aucun lion ni éléphant ni buffle et bien sûr aucun léopard. C’est donc très pauvre… Évidemment tout le restant de la faune habituelle mais en faible quantité : un seul troupeau d’impalas par exemple. Du coup, soit on n’a vraiment pas eu de chance, soit….. À bon lecteur…

Diese Lodge war das Highlight aller Unterkünfte auf unserer Südafrika Reise.Das Personal war unglaublich lieb und freundlich, das Essen, a la Carte, war phantastisch, der Service perfekt, die Game Drives mit Theo waren wunderbar, die Zimmer und besonders der Blick ins Tal und darüber hinaus waren atemberaubend. Wir haben jede Minute genossen und werden wiederkommen!! Wir hoffen es bleibt bezahlbar.

Die Lage der Zulu Rock Lodge ist atemberaubend.Die Zimmer sind mehr als ausreichend, mit herrlicher Aussicht und sehr sauber.Das Personal war ausgezeichnet, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Besondere Erwähnung geht an Artist, unseren Safari-Fahrer und Guide. Ich bin gehbehindert und er hat dafür gesorgt, dass ich problemlos in den Safariwagen ein- und aussteigen konnte. Die Safaris waren immer ein Abenteuer, aber man hatte nie das Gefühl, in Gefahr zu sein. Sein Wissen über Pflanzen, Tiere und die Zulu-Kultur ist hervorragend und er teilt es gerne mit uns. Angesichts der Gelegenheit würde ich auf jeden Fall wiederkommen

Zulu Rock Lodge ist traumhaft gelegen mit einer perfekten Aussicht. Die Bungalows sind aussergewöhnlich schön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und motiviert. Der Guide (Sibu) hat uns auf tolle Gamedrives mitgenommen und wir haben viel gesehen und gelernt.

All the staff were super lovely, warm and very welcoming. The food was so good! Definitely 100/10 The bed extremely comfy! The best shortest sleep I had whole in KZN. The morning game drive was however unsatisfactory. The drive was very long though to get here.

Friendly staff, cleanliness, the food is top notch. I have enjoyed my stay and definitely coming back. especially thanks the following staff members our driver and tour guide Mandla, assistant Manager Gugu and Bongiwe.

The accommodation and views of the surrounding mountains and umfolozi river are breathtaking. These are truly the best sunsets. The kitchen staff and dining experience is other worldly. As the lodge is relatively small guest wise, this is reflected in the attention to detail and the very personable, friendly and professional staff. My stay was short so will definitely be back. I fully recommend Zulu rock lodge for an immersive, authentic, South African hospitality experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zulu Rock Lodge. The views from the lodge are beyond words as it looks out over the valley. All staff we encountered were fantastically friendly and helpful - special mention to Nomvula and Bongiwe. The food is also exceptional - there wasn’t a meal we didn’t thoroughly enjoy. Our guide, Njabulo, was the highlight of our trip. He is very knowledgeable, so friendly and his sense of humour made our trip - we couldn’t thank him enough.
