We live locally and decided to come for lunch as not been for a couple of years. They have a new chef who has worked in London and it shows. The food was excellent. I went with my husband. We shared the mixed salad as a starter. For the mains, he had the venison and I had the duck. Both were excellent. Really, really good. The quality of the meat cuts, the sauces and the accompanying veg were all lovely. For afters, he had the pestanas with ice cream and I had the apple crumble and ice cream ( I said the chef had spent a couple of years in London!!). It was all really good. The service was excellent, led by Antonio and Rosa who were attentive, friendly and professional. Cannot fault anything. Will definitely come again.
