Everything was perfect during our 2 night stay from Nov 7-9. We went during low season and got upgraded, so we got a balcony with Matterhorn views and a mini bar with a fridge, plates, eating utensils, glasses, kettle and a Nespresso machine…came in handy since only one restaurant was open during our stay. The spa was so relaxing, the Onsen can get crowded but we just waited for our turn and sometimes we had it to ourselves, the yurts were adorable, love their tea, bathrobes, and slippers. There’s also a sauna, which we didn’t use but many others did. Breakfast menu had many options and so cozy with fireplace and views of the Matterhorn. The honest bar is self serve/self pay, and we did buy beer, but they also have snacks, other beverages and ice cream. All of their staff is so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back! NOTE: It’s only an 7-10 min walk from the train station to the Sunnegga Funicular, where you can take an elevator up to their check in so if you don’t have a lot of luggage contact them for an entry code to use their elevator. Or you can arrange for pick up (20chf).

Best in town Cervo has put thought into every detail, from checking in to all the room design choices. The breakfast buffet is lovely and includes hot breakfasts, Bazaar has great food for dinner too. The spa was so relaxing, loved looking at the Matterhorn from the hot infinity pool. It feels remote enough on the hill, but is easy to get to with the elevator from the funicular station.
