Zephyr Cove’s campground is beautiful. It is well maintained and a serene landscape across highway 50 (there’s a crosswalk) from Lake Tahoe. We stayed as a stop in a cross county road trip from Florida to Oregon. The cost was reasonable, check-in was easy, & the walk to the lake is short & easy. The noise levels are pretty high in the evening from the RV crowd, but it didn’t keep us awake. The drive up sites, where we stayed, have a picnic table, fire ring, large bear box, driveway and a tent pad (not paved, but flat). We will be returning when we have more time to enjoy the surroundings and the lake!

Fabulous property, lots of fluffy white snow, very comfortable cabin with fireplace and everything you need for comfortable easy stay. Efficient plowing, beautiful beach and VIEWS amazing! Cute little town activities as well as snowmobiling, tubing, etc!

My recent stay at a zephyr cove cabin for a group of 7 left much to be desired. Despite booking for 7 people, the cabin only provided bedding for 5, which meant we were without sheets and blankets for the sofa beds. This oversight created significant discomfort as we had to pull sheets from existing beds to make do for the night. Our arrival was after hours, and both the front desk and housekeeping were closed. When we reached out to the security guard for assistance, his response was incredibly disappointing. He was not only unhelpful but also quite rude, claiming that providing extra blankets was not his responsibility and advising us to wait until morning. This lack of customer service left a sour taste in our mouths. Adding to our frustration, there was no Wi-Fi available on the property, and the 5G network signal was notably weak. This lack of connectivity in today's connected world was a significant drawback, especially when trying to plan activities In summary, our stay at this Lake Tahoe cabin was marred by inadequate bedding, unhelpful and rude staff, and a lack of Wi-Fi. These issues significantly impacted our experience negatively, and we hope that the management can address these shortcomings to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable stay for future guests.

I stayed in a cabin that was walking distance to the beach, which was wonderful. The girls who checked me in were super nice and knowledgeable. The shower in my cabin was dirty and there were small holes in the wall. The bed linens were dirty. The kitchen was small but functional. For what I paid I expected to at least have a clean bathroom and sheets. I probably won’t come back.

Beware my fellow RV Campers We book a reservation in Jan 2023 a long with some other friends and family from different part of the USA for a family reunion in beginning of July 2023. Zephyr Cove took our reservation and a deposit. Gave a confirmation number. Three days before we were to arrive, they called to cancel my reservation via voicemail. Reason, Zephyr Cove overbooked???? Unbelievable, and unacceptable. I called them. Sat on hold for over 30 mins. Finally someone answered. I tried to explain about the family reunion, and that I was the only one out of our group to be canceled. All they could say was "sorry for the inconvenience", over and over. To add insult to this later. They sent me an email saying they were sorry that I had to cancel my reservation. I have never in all my years of RVing had a reservation canceled due to overbooking let alone 3 days before your arrival date. As I said "BEWARE MY FELLOW RV CAMPERS. JUST BECAUSE YOU MAKE A RESERVATION, PUT A DEPOSIT DOWN, GET A CONFIRMATION NUMBER. ZEPHYR COVE RESORT CAN CANCEL YOU AT THE LAST MINUTE". I will never stay here or any other place affiliated with Zephyr Cove knowing they can cancel you out for overbooking months later and at the last minute. How can one plan knowing this???????????

We booked a cruise for four adults ($396.00) on Zephyr Cove’s the Dixie paddle boat at Lake Tahoe. The cruise was canceled by Zephyr Cove due to high winds. They charged my credit card and despite several calls have not given my money back. What a ripoff, beware.!!!
