阿加西海灘飯店

Ein hoch gepflegtes Hotel direkt am Strand und Meer. Die Zimmer waren jeden Tag geputzt und die Umgebung rund um Hotel war sehr sauber. Die Mädchen an der Rezeption waren immer hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Merlina kann Deutsch, deswegen hatten wir kaum Problem mit der Kommunikation. Ich empfehle dieses hotel und bestimmt werde ich nächstes Jahr auch, mit Freunden, besuchen.

Good points: location directly at a small beach (not very clean, but sufficient if you want to swim in a wonderful warm sea), minimarket across the street, relative calm (outside of the strict centre of the town). Weak points: old dirty extremely noisy air conditioning, old dirty badly arranged bathroom (difficult to move in a cramped space), old dirty refrigerator locked with a key (with some juice and water left by previous guests – that tells you everything about cleaning standards you might expect there), the list could go on. But the biggest surpise was at breakfast, officially held from 8.00 to 10.00. At 8.45 there were only empty plates left – one completely empty (presumably with ham?), one with some scraps of feta cheese and one with 2 small pieces of normal cheese, plus some tomatos. No clean plates, no glasses for juice/water, no cups for coffee. I managed to sit at the last clean table, the people who arrived later were not so lucky (it was a small room with only a couple of tables, not a big restaurant). And the serving girl (with good command of English) seemed quite surpised that at breakfast people actually want to eat something – meaning they expect the food to be there, as well as plates and glasses and clean tables to sit at and it is her job to ensure that, without loud complaints from the guests.

A really nice hotel to just go and chill at. The room was modern, clean, and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was good with a large selection of foods on offer. We went as a couple, but plenty of people there as couples, solos, friends, old and young!
