室友青年旅館(Room Mate Hostel Amsterdam Zaandam)

I booked and paid in advance. I booked about three weeks before my arrival. But when I got there, I was told by the reception that I had to pay an extra €14.2. They told me that this was city tax, which tourists needed to pay. I really didn't understand it at that time. Because the receptionist received an email and was told to pay the tax, but I did not receive the notice at all. The key point was that it was not displayed when I made the appointment. So my decision is to contact customer service to solve the problem.

It was very nice, i liked it a lot. Friendly staff and very clean. There is also a restaurant right next to the hostel were we could eat with a discount. It was very tasteful. There was a nice terrace and a nice kitchen, the beds were comfortable too.

C'est dans le centre de Zaandan, en même temps le centre est tout petit, et à 15 minutes de la gare. Il y a une place avec plusieurs commerces au bout de la rue, essentiellement des bars et des restos. Et sinon il y a la rue commerçante qui remonte vers la gare si on veut prendre un petit déjeuner ou du pain. Les chambres étaient plutôt bien organisées la salle de bain était bien équipée les lits étaient confortables, le linge était propre. Comme souvent dans les dortoirs il fait très chaud la nuit, on a laissé toutes les fenêtres ouvertes et la rue était vraiment calme pour dormir. Le check out est tard c'est top. Très bon accueil du gérant, il est très serviable et il fait en sorte que le séjour se passe bien. Il n'y a pas d'espace ou salon pour se reposer avec des canapés par exemple, il n'y a pas non plus de salle pour manger alors que pourtant il y a une petite cuisine. Donc manger sur son lit c'est vraiment pas génial et du coup financièrement ça veut dire qu'il faut être les trois repas dehors. Pas de casier pour ranger les affaires ou de consignes pour les laisser en attendant le train.

lekkere burgers en mooi Terras. de kamers waren ook schoon en we waren erg blij met ons verblijf. het persooneel was ook erg aardig en de hostel was gelegen op een goede locatie, met een treinstation, restaurants en supermarkten naast je.

3 Leute haben trotz Nachfrage keine Bettdecke bekommen und mussten ohne Decke schlafen. Betten waren dreckig mit Haaren der Vorgänger. Betten für Personen ab 1,90m nicht geeignet. Bad dreckig, Wasser der Dusche kochend heiß und nicht einstellbar.

I enjoyed the hostel although it was very hot inside the rooms and the other travellers/men living in the rooms were strange

Betten dreckig/ Haare der Vormieter vorhanden, 4 Personen mussten ohne Decke schlafen. Es wurden Personen nachgemeldet, was jedoch ignoriert wurde (unverschämt hoher Bettenpreis veranschlagt). Auch wenn als Gruppe angereist wird, wohnen trotzdem fremde Personen auf dem Zimmer!! Durchgang zu den Betten sehr gering. Über den Hochbetten bleiben unter 50cm Platz bis zur Decke! In den Duschen gibt es nur kochend heißes Wasser. Für das komplette Hostel gibt es nur zwei Bäder/Toiletten. Außenbereich ist ebenfalls vermüllt, schmutzig und wirkt sehr herabgekommen. Der "Ozean" bzw. "Stadtblick" ist nicht vorhanden.

Het is gelegen in het hart van het centrum van Zaandam nabij het treinstation. Amsterdam 12 minuten met de trein, geweldige locatie, uitstekende accommodatie en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ze maken zich grote zorgen over de voorzorgsmaatregelen ivm Corona en hygiëne!!!
