Grimaldo the owner of the hotel was there at the airport to pick us up. As we had landed in cusco from iquitos he offered us coco tea so that we feel better . The hotel is a new property , 5 floors 8-9 rooms per floor . There is lift so don't have to climb stairs . We were in room 501 with great view of the Andes all around. Rooms are very comfortable, running hot water 24×7, good heating , nice comfortable bed . Grimaldo is always there to help u out , be it fixing a cab for local tour or food or any advise that u require including Spanish to English translation for us . Food is really awesome, taste , freshness, plating all similar to star hotels. Breakfast spread is great, yoghurt, nuts, cereals , breads , eggs( omlet, fried, scramble) , cheese , beacon ,fruits , juice and tea. Dinner we had chicken soup and grilled trout . After landing at cusco we straight away came to urubamba , that saves a lot of hassles, altitude is less, all the places you do a tour from cusco like maras morey olyantaytambo are very near urubamba . All in all a fantastic stay and a great property

Although my stay in Yucay didn’t start off easily due to altitude sickness, the hotel staff – and especially hotel manager Grimaldo – made sure I felt safe, seen, and exceptionally well cared for. The room was truly perfect: clean, stylish, and complete with a wonderful jacuzzi. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail. In terms of comfort and service, this hotel far exceeds its official three-star rating. Honestly? To me, it deserves at least four stars – I even gave it five in my personal review. The staff are outstanding: warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. From the kitchen to the front desk, everyone gave their absolute best. And Grimaldo… he anticipates your needs, acts swiftly, and is always there for you. I’ve rarely encountered such dedication. The food? Superb. Full of flavor, thoughtfully prepared, and a delight for the senses – even on the days when I barely had an appetite. In short: even though I wasn’t physically at my best, the experience at this hotel was one of genuine hospitality, quality, and heartfelt care. To anyone visiting Yucay: don’t hesitate – this is a place where you’ll feel truly welcomed and looked after.

El mejor hotel de Urubamba, el Sr.Grimaldo el propietario nos recibio y nos dio la mejor atencion posibles. Las habitaciones de lujo, baños muy amplios y cin mucha presión de agua fria y caliente, sabanas muy limpias y puro algodon, ascensor por piso y amplio, comedor y cocinas expectacular y su Bar buenisimoooooo, hay de todo y sus macerados muy buenos. Realmente 100% recomendable. Gracias Grimaldo por las atenciones. Nota: Pidan su Ceviche de Trucha, es rebueno....Slds

The hotel has a terrace with a spectacular view and an exceptionally beautiful and well-kept garden, creating the perfect setting for relaxation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is amazing – fresh, delicious, and made with natural ingredients. Everything is thoughtfully arranged, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. A dream location I will definitely return to!

I can’t express how much this hotel exceeded my expectations. I booked the room at a bargain rate for a property of this standard, but then also got a free upgrade to a jacuzzi suite and a transfer from Cusco. To say that we loved staying at Valle Del Sol is a gross understatement. We felt like the dearest guests, with the team attending to all our needs. The manager, Grimaldo, went above and beyond. Not only he picked us from Cusco airport personally, he also arranged us taxis, tours, special meals and helped me get medications as one of us was ill on arrival. The hotel is new, modern and beautiful. Everything is as described, and in perfect condition. Would love to stay here again.

Llegamos desde argentina y nos estaban esperando de manera muy amena. Excelente hotel, es nuevo, muy acojedor, la comida es muy buena, como así también las opciones de bebidas, la gente muy amable , las habitaciones cómodas y limpias. Muy recomendado !
