蓋爾特雷斯旅館飯店(Galtres Lodge Hotel & Forest Restaurant)

Hotel bien ubicado, baño muy chico el lavabo flojo y la tapa del inodoro suelta. Cuando caminas todo cruje. La escalera para acceder a la pieza es empinada y finita. La decoración es muy agradable y el servicio de café y té muy coqueto. Personal simpático Desayuno rico pero no hay fruta Caro para el servicio.

Perfect location Comfy attractive room with great view from the skylights. Let down by the bathroom, servicable but could do with some tlc. Delicious dinner in restaurant and good breakfast. Menus need sorting out as the food cost significsntly more on the menu in the restaurant than the menu in the room.

Great find, perfect location great price. Forest restaurant dinner was superb, breakfast was mediocre ; apart from soft boiled eggs which were perfectly runny( a rare treat) Awful OJ. The Forest was a very strange decor . I get that it was supposed to be in the forest but it was brimming with dusty plastic Ivy !?! Very comedic decor. The rest of the set up was very nice and service superb. Room was compact and super cute.

Loved our stay at the Galtres Lodge. Boutique hotel in fantastic location. Had fabulous meal in the restaurant.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was quite small for the amount we paid but the location is perfect and very central. It couldn’t have been any better. Behind the bed head was pretty dusty I noticed when looking for an accessible plug. Otherwise the room was very clean. The room was comfortable and had a view of the side of the Minster. Breakfast was nice.

This place was lovely. Everyone that worked there was so nice and there couldn't be a better location in York. The whole area including the hotel was incredibly charming and I wish we could have stayed longer! Also, don't be afraid to spring for the room with the bathtub...its amazing and totally worth it

The hotel was lovely, the room was clean and the staff very friendly. The room we stayed in was just above the restaurant and the smell of food was too overwhelming for most of the afternoon and evening. It eased off when the restaurant closed for it to all start again when breakfast was being served. It did somewhat ruin the experience.
