約克市中心紅屋頂飯店(Red Roof Inn York Downtown)

Staff was welcoming. Guests/residents hanging outside smoking made the place feel seedy and unsafe. We took the loss and went to the Comfort Inn.

A dead body being removed in the early morning hours. Dogs barking, people screaming at each other and using profane language. The hotel seems to cater to urban blight

Everything was great! The only thing I suggest is to have an area for smoking that we can sit down.

I asked for a room with two beds. They had none, so I had to share a double bed with a family member. This place was OK, but I would not stay there again.

Incredible dirty! Wish I could attach pictures. The Stench of smoke on staff and in the room was quite overwhelming! I asked for wipes...would have cleaned myself but they refused to give me anything. I went and bought my own and cleaned. They tried barging in my room early Friday morning...."The city is here to inspect your room. You have to let us in". Neither person hand ID or paperwork. Nor did they look professional. The door was promptly closed in their face and they were told to come back on their time....not mine. I did watch, I believe, the manager talking with another guest having some mental issues and she was reassuring her nicely.

It met the needs of the stay. The front desk staff was super accomodating and friendly

A receptionist surrounded by bullet-proof glass gave me some idea what to expect. Room was clean /mattress was comfortable. Walls were so thin I could hear EVERYTHING said/done by my neighbors. Property is in DIRE need of renovation. Parking is inadequate. Overall, not a place I will stay in again.

The property itself is your average motel, it gets the job done, but there was a lot of shady people hanging out in the parking lot, not sure if they were staying at the motel or just using the parking lot.
