Friendly staff, great location. Clean bed linen. Room was generally unclean, stained carpets, worn mattress woke up with a back pain. Entrance to the room wasnt cleaned, there were a lot of dirt, people had thrown away half eaten apples those weren't cleaned. Bathroom towel railing was broken. We felt that management has not paid a visit to the rooms recently. Us two families stayed in two separate rooms, both were in bad condition. I wouldn't stay here again, and would not recommend for families with kids.

OK. So I know that you get what you pay for. The room was small but suited our needs as far as size goes. The carpets were stained. We had to purchase face washers as there were only 2 towels and a floor mat. The floor mat was incredibly frayed. There were glasses in the fridge that were absolutely filthy and needed rewashing before using. Zero tv reception - again you get what you pay for. There were clean crockery and cutlery and dishwashing detergent/chux wipe which was good. The manager is lovely and at the end of the day, this is just an overnight stay. BUT it was pretty bad.

Should have ran when we opened the door and saw the couch, but it was late & we needed to be elsewhere. Came back late & just jumped into be, woke up in the morning and were disgusted. No TV reception, old stained Blanket on bed, Carpet stained in areas, Shower in need of regrouting/Silicone as black mold stained. There was no Reception available in the morning to speak with about the issues. Majority of issue are Ownership based not staff related. We do not expect the world but do expect a clean and presentable room to stay in. (Friday 1 overnight stay only thank god! )

The Roundhouse Motel in Peterborough is a good place to stay when visiting this nice SA town with its famous rail history. Our room was spacious and clean with good facilities and parking at the door. The restaurant was undergoing work so there was no on-site dining but it was only a short drive to the town centre with hotels and pizza plentiful. Likewise no breakfast but we could easily eat downtown. It is only a short drive to the rail museum. We had a most comfortable night and would recommend the Roundhouse Motel.

A cut above most budget motels. Don't be put off by the dated exterior. Away from the main roads so very quiet. We had a large well appointed carpeted room, with glass door to the garden and the pool. King bed, two comfy chairs and coffee table, another table and two further chairs. Big TV with all channels plus ABC iView, SBS on Demand, etc. Dated bathroom but clean, good shower pressure and hot water. Linen and towels good quality. Dispenser shower gel, body lotion, shampoo so no wasteful little soaps. Microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery, teatowel and detergent. Very clean pleasant and helpful staff.

Basic motel, quiet location off the main road & nice pool area. Room was OK - great shower, toaster, kettle, microwave & fridge. Large trolleys of dirty linen everywhere, particularly outside rooms & in the walkway from reception was a downside & really did make one question the hygiene standards. They looked like they’d been there for some time
