塔納熔岩景觀平房飯店(Tanna Lava View Bungalows)

Stunning volcano views. Lovely people and such a unique opportunity to spend some time visiting the local village and its people. Treasured memories.

Daniel's Bungalows are in an amazing place with great access to the volcano and surprisingly decent food. The best part, though, is that you are living in a small village and get to be a part of their unique way of life. Those aspects made the experience a great one for me, but be warned that the amenities are very minimal, especially in Sept '22 when the post-covid recovery had a long way to go. Our rooms had no electricity, one had no sink, one shower was just a hose without a head, etc... I think Daniel will be making improvements soon but currently they're missing many modern comforts.

Excellent authentic experience of Vanuatu village life. The hosts were so generous and welcoming. Food was good (but was a generous version of what they ate so don’t expect 5 stars). If you want an amazing real experience go for it! The views were spectacular. Watch the volcano at sunrise from the little deck! Awesome.

We had the most amazing time here, from the minute we landed at the airport everything was perfect. Daniel and his family are wonderful people and organised everything we needed, transport from/to airport, tours and food. The location is truly authentic in a village and you could see the volcanos glow from our room.

I spent 4 nights at Lava view bungalows and it was a really great experience. Even from my bed I could see and hear the Yasur volcano. The food was great and right from mother nature. Daniel, Jella his wife and Ross were perfectly taking care of me in the middle of the forest . I was glad I booked 4 nights, so I could go up to the volcano twice and stay at different view points at the top as weather and wind does not always allow to get to all of them. Daniel's help was extraordinary for arranging the drives to the volcano even on short notice. For the hikers it seems there is a trail up to the highest mountain of Tanna (Tukosmera) , which I did not do but I rather did a 18 km hike across the ash plane to the ocean and back. Make your Math correctly about the money you need before going to Tanna as it is all about cash. Even the park fee (8k for the first time 4 K for the second time could only be payed in cash)
