The room had absolutely no soundproofing whatsoever—it honestly felt like staying in a large shared dormitory. Unless you plan to leave the room by 6–7 a.m. every day, you’ll be forced to listen to doors slamming, people walking around, housekeeping staff chatting, constant knocking, and even classes being conducted next door. Definitely not a place for anyone expecting a relaxing or comfortable stay.
I was genuinely surprised to find that I had to pull the refrigerator out and plug it in myself—something I’ve never experienced before. Even better, once it was running, it was incredibly loud. The shower had almost no water pressure, making it quite unpleasant to use. It also seemed like the room hadn’t been properly prepared prior to check-in—the phone was broken, and there was visible dust on both the floor and the table. While housekeeping could be called to clean it, this is hardly the standard one would expect upon arrival.
As for the front desk, if guests are issued multiple key cards, the process should at least be handled clearly and correctly.
To be fair, the staff were generally polite. However, that alone doesn’t make up for the overall experience.
Honestly, I have no idea how this hotel ended up with any kind of “recommended” or “featured” ranking.
