伍拉科姆灣飯店(The Woolacombe Bay Hotel)

We came to the cinema here to see the Amy Winehouse film. We had a drink from the bar and the waiter even went into the hotel to fetch Real Ale on draft for the guys. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and brought our drinks to our seats. The seats were 2 seater sofa's and very comfortable and the tables which held our drinks were an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed the film. The only downside is the leg room, very limited and we all had painful knees at the end.

Dropped in for lunch, very lovely interior to the hotel and restaurant, very friendly staff, and a lovely location. The food however was very poor, we only came for lunch and simply ordered sandwiches that were described as gourmet on the menu. What we got was one beef and horseradish sandwich with no butter, no horseradish on stale bread, and one chargrilled turkey toasted sandwich with garlic mustard mayo and salad with no garlic mayo, cheap sliced turkey in a cheap panini with wilted steaming hot lettuce and tomato inside. Would have been better off getting sandwiches from a petrol station. Don't bother going to eat, but nice place for drinks and I'm sure the hotel rooms are nice

This is a really great hotel in a fabulous location in North Devon. The place is kept immaculately clean, has a great spa & gym, wonderful outdoor pool area and even has its own cinema where you can watch a film whilst enjoying popcorn and a G&T. The hotel is situated right on Woolacombe beach, with its own access, has lots of parking and 'green areas' to relax in. Whats not to like! There are even some great deals on offer at the moment so would recommend you get on and book before everyone finds out, we already have! Make sure you go for a sea-view room.

Came to Woolacombe for a day on Sat 30th March 2024... popped into the Bay Brasserie (part of the Hotel)...ended up having light lunch...service amazing, ambience amazing...decided to book for lunch on Sunday 31st March (next day) to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary....we were nit disappointed...would now love to come abd stay here...fabulous place, impeccable staff...on our bucket list of places to stay xx Thank you

Despite the grey skies we received a warm welcome in woolacombe. I had saved this over night sea view stay to relax and unwind and wanted to combine a spa experience with a change of scenery. I was really impressed with the attention to the detail during our short stay. The room had a stunning sea view and there were lots of thoughtful touches (fresh water, milk and homemade shortbread ) in our room. I also really appreciated the hotel accommodated my request for a bath and I enjoyed using the spa quality toiletries. The hotel has lots of modern facilities (gym looks amazing), cinema and a beautiful spa. The hotel is also charming and characterful. I would also recommend pre booking an evening meal and breakfast. The quality and choose of dining is outstanding and it is very popular. Finally I cannot recommend the spa enough. The hospitality of the spa staff is amazing and we were made to feel very welcome. I enjoyed a discounted treatment as a guest and it was the perfect end to a relaxing short stay.

Staying at the Woolacombe Bay Hotel felt like a real treat. The room was excellent with a balcony and beautiful views. The service was exceptional - everybody was helpful, warm and friendly whilst also being professional. We particularly enjoyed going to the small private cinema (with a cocktail!). We paid more than we would normally pay for a weekend away, but it was well worth it and we will be back!

A 3 day stay was most enjoyable. All the staff were very friendly & helpful & made you feel like a valued patron. The food in the Brasserie was extremely good with beautiful local fresh fish offered every day. Breakfasts were not quite so good but fine. The sauna & indoor swimming pool was good & I would have liked to attended the cinema. Maybe next time. I miss the pitch & putt & hope they will consider providing a reasonable course for guest use only. The only two problems with our lovely sea view room was the subdued light which made reading rather difficult at night & the slow Wi-Fi but particularly the inability to access ******** websites.

Beautiful building, very well maintained, in a great location. Despite it being December all the facilities were open. I could have happily spent my whole trip in the hotel. The room was immaculate with a stunning view of Lundy (I think) and of the beach and sunrises/sets. Despite rooms either side the balcony felt very private.

Fabulous hotel. Wonderful staff. We are regulars of Woolacombe Bay Hotel. We love the relaxed, friendly and historical ambience of the whole place. We have everything we desire there, in particular, the luxury rooms with sea view balconies. The Bay Brassiere is lovely and food is excellent. It's just a shame that the menu is limited and rarely changes. The staff are always kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble for them, especially Jonathan, who always greets us with a lovely warm and happy smile, is very attentive and helpful. The grounds are also beautifully kept and a real pleasure to relax in.
