When we first arrived my family and I went to the front desk. As soon as we made it up the desk the young man Col*** was not a welcoming person. Gave us attitude right off the bat. He kept telling us room was cancelled 2 weeks prior but how could that be when we scheduled the room 2 days prior to the stay. Turns out after 35 minutes on the phone with a third party company-I booked thru **********-customer service thru the third party company says Home2Suites had made a mistake and they were trying to just take our money and not resolve the problem. Well I was gonna not let that happen and I told front desk room was already paid for and to just put us in a different room and that’s what the guy did. But took him almost an 1 hour for him to do that. The whole time he was working with us he was taking selfies on Snapchat, FaceTiming his friends on his personal phone, and texting his friends during the whole time trying to help us. My son worked as a front desk staff member and wasn’t pleased on how the this person acted. He was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
Our final night l, a woman had left her purse after calling an UBER. My son went out to get it; told front desk and same front desk person just set it aside and said nothing. So my son did what was needed to be done, since staff didn’t seem to care. He looked up the woman online and messaged her. She came back and was happy that a stranger called and no one from staff had done so.
Rating would be more but staff screwed it up.
