First night, there was an altercation in the carpark. I was scared. Room over carpark very noisy. Traffic on main road roared all night. Noisy motorbikes as well. The room was lit up at night from light on the outside of the bathroom and had to keep the door closed. The aircon was ancient and extremely noisy. The best things about Motel are the restaurant and cafe.

My husband and I only had one short night in Wollongong, but I’m so glad we chose to stay at the Boat Harbour Motel. It is an older building but it’s well maintained, with spacious rooms and very welcoming. The location is perfect if you want to be able to walk around the area rather than have to drive everywhere. Close to the harbour and beach, as well as the cbd. We will stay here again, hopefully for longer next time!

I enjoyed being right on the Harbour in Wollongong and on th free bus 55A and 55C route and the Blue Mile walk. The room was a nice size, a little larger than many motel rooms, with a balcony. It was clean and comfortable and the lift was efficient. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Reasonably priced and very convenient for our needs.
In an effort to be eco friendly, there was zero metal cutlery to be used like a tea spoon to make tea or a knife to cut up an apple. It felt very basic.
There was no book \ guide to area in room.
Bed was comfy and water pressure good in shower. Room did smell heavily of bleach on entry but better that than smoke. Will be back when the next Makers market is on I'm sure. Front desk staff very friendly.

Excellent room nice outside balcony could see the harbour from our room. Instant hot water from the shower. Room was nice and tidy. Only issue at night couple of cockroaches the first night. Other then that highly recommended. Staff were absolutely perfect

Loved the property will definitely will return greeted by a lovely man who was very helpful the room was very clean with everything you need the room was even cooled down for us wonderful to walk into on a hot day bed was comfortable, shower had great pressure , the parking was close and secure , right across from the water , easy departure.
