金普頓卡迪納爾飯店(Kimpton Cardinal Hotel)

The place is lovely only thing is the room I order was not the room I got I wanted a tub n room didn’t get it the run house room

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Winston-Salem with helpful valet parking, a fantastic restaurant on the first floor, and a welcoming staff. Easy to travel with my dog.

The Kimpton Cardinal Hotel is a boutique hotel and, as such, it fills the bill in unique, hip design. It was very comfortable. One thing makes this less than a rave review. There was no coffee maker in the room. This is such a common thing in hotels these days that I did not notice it missing until the morning. When I called the front desk, they had one brought up to me after a wait of around 20 minutes.

So the staff is awesome however No microwave in the room u have to call down for it. Iron did not work they had to bring me a new one. It was supposed to be with a view and have a bath tub as showed in the pictures however there was definitely not a view of down town and there are no tubs at all. Was told I looked at their other location however I was in Winston Salem so I know better we had a king bed very comfortable however their pillows was like sleeping on bricks

Location was great, room service great.. I found the bathroom small for 2 adults n the bed was very uncomfortable… I could hear the cell phone in the room next door ringing at 2:30am

Hotel is a little dark in public areas. Room temp was difficult to maintain. Had problems with keys not working almost daily. Nice to have daily room cleaning.

Traveled to Winston for a quick trip with my wife, 5 year, and 3 year old. We couldn’t have been happier with this place. It was a beautiful remodel, but our stay was exceptional because of the service really. Letia and Kenya at the front desk were absolutely the best! The went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodated. We called ahead and they got us into our room early and even allowed us some extra time on check out day. I read a lot of complaints about this place, so we were reluctant to stay. Everything was very clean. The game room area was like nothing I’ve seen in a hotel before with a bowling alley, pool table, basketball court, and lots of TVs. I can say without a doubt that we will stay here again.

The room was decently clean but the gym felt and smelled filthy largely due to the carpeting.

Check-in and valet were good, bar was great, and room was nice--all good!
