Ein schönes Anwesen, das dem Gast alles bietet, was man auf der Reise benötigt. Hervorzuheben sind die tollen Bemühungen des Restaurant Managers und des Kochs um unsere Tochter, die sich glutenfrei ernähren muss, mit einem guten Abendessen zu versorgen. Das war schon super! Wir hatten Zimmer 15, das war nicht ganz so super, es ist sehr klein, im Bad, so man es so nennen darf, ist nicht mal eine Steckdose. Andere Zimmer derselben Kategorie sind größer/besser. Das Frühstück war an den 3 Tagen 2x gut, 1x war eines von zweien kalt. Was warm war, weil frisch, waren nur die Eier, die man erstmal vergessen hatte. Dass man zum Frühstück alles, was an Getränken über den ersten Kaffee hinausgeht, separat bezahlen muss, haben wir nie erlebt, das ist ziemlich lächerlich. Am letzten Abend haben wir wegen dem schönen Holzofen auf eine gute Pizza gehofft, das muss noch etwas geübt werden, die Käseorgie war nun wirklich nicht zu essen, ohne Schaden zu nehmen. Für die maximale Bewertung reicht es nach unserer Meinung nicht, dazu muss ja alles passen.

Una delusione importante rispetto alle premesse: il posto è bello, le stanze anche. Il servizio poco accettabile: distratto in genere. Durante la cena po, falla alle 19:30, siccome eravamo gli unici clienti si sono messi a pulire i pavimenti mentre cenavamo. Pertanto questo odore di prodotti per la pulizia spiacevole e parecchio!

Attentive staff, lovely spacious rooms, accommodative to personal needs and requests. Food was lovely, restaurant can get a bit busy but convenient as it is on site. I had made this booking on behalf of my parents to celebrate their anniversary and they had the time of their lives! A Special thank you to Jaicey at reception & Merencia at the restaurant for extra attention to detail and care. You really made the experience extra special for the 2 of them! Will definitely book again! Thank you!

Droombos was an absolute pleasure to stay at. It was just what we needed to end our family holiday before departing the country. From the beautifully decorated rooms to the menu variety at the restaurant, it all fits together for a joyous experience.

Rooms are old, but expensive. „Open bathroom concept“ means there is no door, no curtain, nothing that separates the bedroom. If you enjoy seeing your company sitting on the toilet; this is for you! Staff arrogant. Everything is charged. You don’t feel like a valued guest, but like a cash cow. When we booked website said airport transfer was included, was cancelled all of a sudden („was a mistake on the website“) – no offer for a discount or at least an apology. „Breakfast included“ means one item from their menu plus one hot beverage. Even water must be paid for. All in all, very disappointing. Two Stars only for the nice setting. Never again!

We stay always at the campsite when we are in Windhoek and we love it to relax at the vineyard. The restaurant is excellent and the service is very good.
