橄欖樹全套房飯店

Notre agence nous avait réservé ce lodge pour notre dernière nuit en Namibie. L'emplacement est relativement calme, un peu à l'écart de centre. Restaurant très agréable et peu onéreux. Excellente cuisine. Le personnel a été adorable. Nous avons pu garder la chambre jusqu'à notre départ en milieu d'après-midi et la propriétaire nous a même accompagné en ville pour nous permettre de réaliser des achats de souvenirs. Rien à redire.

Das Olive ist ein charmantes Boutiquehotel. Die Suiten sind ausnehmend geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück wird individuell und sehr liebevoll zubereitet und serviert. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Personal ist freundlich, professionell und bemüht. Als wir da waren, hat das W-Lan im Zimmer nicht funktioniert und ein paar Kleinigkeiten waren nicht ganz perfekt. Deswegen wären wohl 4,5 Sterne angemessen. Da es unter den wenigen Stadthotels im Luxussegment aber vermutlich das persönlichste und modernste Haus ist, vergebe ich trotzdem 5 Punkte.

Als Start für einen Namibia-Urlaub sehr gut - unsere Suite war groß, schön eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen eigenen Pool, der Service war gut. Die Lage in der Innenstadt ist perfekt, um Windhoek zu erkunden.

We started and finished our travels at Olive Exclusive Suites, on our driving tour around Namibia. Very friendly welcome , the staff work hard to assist any orders. Beds are comfortable with lovely linen. This hotel is in need of TLC, there has been clearly been an effort 'Shabby Sheik decor with with an endearing African feel style, leaning towards the shabby end of the scales!. The online pictures have clearly been taken quite some years ago, as most areas are tired; a little effort would be a game changer, and become a GEM. Now for some negatives I'm afraid ! In the lounge/deck & bar area the furniture needs repairing or updating, our room had an AC each end of the suite, only one worked. There are 2 sets of steep steps that lead to the bedrooms, one staircase has minimal lights that work, the ones that do work shine directly up into your eyes! The other staircase none work. Breakfast was very nicely cooked, lunch very minimal menu, dinner food was fine. The menu itself has pictures of the food , which doesn't make for appealing tempting orders. On our final night we opted to go out for dinner, the hotel booked our taxi to and from the restaurant, returning at 9pm, which we did as we were told the hotel bar remained open till 10pm,, on our return, the hotel was completely locked up, no light, no staff available ! The gate security had to help access us to our room ! I've tried to be fair, but wasn't a great ending.

I forgot to write review because i'm still waiting for them to reply to me to my email i sent one year ago... On the positive side Rooms are nice Dining room is nice Food was correct On the negative side The swimming pool are in such a bad shape and really are not welcoming. We didn’t even tried to get in the water The exteriors are not well maintained at all The worst thing is the stress they caused us. We took a huge time to warn them regarding the fact that we needed to check out very early in the morning in order to take our international plane… this was actually the only reason we decided to sleep in this hotel. We asked them to help us with the luggages because there were so many stairs and they told us that there won’t be any problem and that we can trust them.. At the time we needed to leave no one was there. No one. I climbed the stairs in order to reach some help. No one. I knocked on the doors even shouted desperately, no one. The driver wasn’t even able to enter because your security was sleeping and no one opened the gates for him. I had to climb all the stairs with my luggages, and I could have injured myself. I had to shout and knock at every doors in order to wake up the security… the guys that are supposed to do the security are sleeping, no one is helping and we were stressed to miss our plane. An old person never would have been able to climb the steep and long stairs with their luggage’s and would have miss their plane… They never even dare to apologize and to answer to my email

Excellent high end hotel suite with 7 rooms in the heart of Windroek. The staff at the restaurant was especially kind and accommodating!
