We had a great stay here - felt very comfortable and welcomed. We used as a base for skiing at Mt. Snow - mountain was 20-30 mins away depending on time of day/traffic/weather. Water/tea/coffee available all day and breakfast was good. Highly recommend!

Cute vintage B&B in the heart of rural southern Vermont. The innkeepers are very nice and attentive, the rooms well appointed, very clean, and comfortable bed. Breakfast on the front porch was a great way to start the day. Would definitely recommend this inn for a short stay, and we hope to visit again in future. Good access to areas in Vermont as well as western Massachusetts, Berkshires, southwestern New Hampshire, etc.

We loved staying at the Engle house. Came up from Florida to show the kids a New England ski vacation. We all were so cozy and Liz and James were so helpful about giving us driving tips. We loved hanging out in the living room by the fire at the end of the day.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Engel House. I can't say enough about the owners and how wonderful they are. We stayed right off the living room area in a nice spacious room with a king size bed that was very comfy! The breakfast was continental which was perfect for us as we wanted a cup of jo and a quick bite for the road. We would stay again if ever back in Vermont!
