Lovely little B&B, instructions when arrive to collect keys etc simple…..we stayed in Diggery delvet room, it was a little apartment with living area, bedroom and bathroom, lovely little place, hair dryer, towels, shower, board games, tv, Netflix, tea/coffee etc all found in the room. Area was lovely little village type with bars, pubs, restaurants, shops A* + Short walk to the lake where you can find more restaurants/pubs etc plenty to eat, boat cruise to Ambleside, buses run a lot if you want to go to Ambleside/grassmere or down towards the lake. Plenty of toilet options in Windermere through pubs etc or public for 50p charge. Queyside restaurant was our fave over looking the lake, Debbie made us feel welcome and asked if anything we needed each day we stayed. Quiet area, parking with permit (from B&B) in certain streets was no hassle. Lovely place to stay would definitely recommend 5/5 *****

Very pleasant stay. Room spotless and very practical. Great location and fantastic host who went the extra mile and made sure all was okay. Was nice to have biscuits and other things to eat in the room. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Accommodation is right in the centre of Windermere, but one street away so it’s quiet.

Lovely little bnb in windemere for a 2 night stay Room cosy and spotless with nice little touch of fresh milk in fridge. We brought our 2 dogs with us and there was a " doggy box " in the room which was another nice surprise. I was a bit apprehensive about parking but the permit parking allowed us to park on the next street and we had to no problem getting parked up either day. Location is perfect right on the high street abd for walking into Bowness at night too ( 20min walk ) All in all a great stay and very reasonably priced for the lakes !

August 14th to 19th a great stay, very comfortable, rooms really fresh & very clean. The owners are very helpful & nothing was a bother for them, ideally situated right in the centre of the shops but still quiet, would highly recommend

Myself and my partner have just stayed for a couple of days and what a wonderful stay we had. We arrived earlier and Debbie ensured there was a permit waiting for us to park up and get on with our day before we could check in, which was earlier than expected. We found a parking spot straight away right outside. When we go in there we where surprised to have a suite room so had a living area as well as the bedroom and it was just really quaint and lovely. The room had everything we needed and a lovely little touch with breakfast tray and milk and juice in the fridge. Perfect location. We will definitely be returning

We have just spent a lovely weekend at Cambridge House. What a find! We booked quite late and given that is was Bank Holiday weekend everything went like clockwork. Ideally situated just yards from the centre of Windermere. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Very reasonably priced We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank You so much for a lovely stay .
