We have stayed here at least once a year, sometimes more. It is convenient to Uber from to go downtown. Perfect distance to Wrightsville and Carolina Beaches. The property has been undergoing major renovations. It is much nicer than when we first began staying here; however, don't plan on sleeping in or napping in the afternoon because of the work being done on the building. The parts that are complete are beautiful and don't have that old smell anymore. And even though the one elevator always says it's on floor 6, it's not. The noise of the elevator just adds to the excitement of traveling. The evening staff are super friendly and nice. The morning staff seemed bothered to get off their phone to assist. The morning noise of other doors slamming shut in the hallway and the elevator dinging were annoying. You will hear everything happening in the hallway. The breakfast is decent, regular hotel finds like waffles, eggs, yogurt, cereal, and coffee, etc.

Very clean and very cozy! Only complaint was the WiFi was out half the day making work a little complicated. Otherwise we had a great experience.

Checked in Tub was dirty had to clean before I showered and I keep hearing a chirp noise was fire detector had to switch rooms due to no maintenance available. Not a pleasant stay

It was very odd. There was no little bar of soap to take a shower or wash your hands. We had to use a very poor shampoo after using the bathroom. When we left, there was not one staff person around to help us. Overnight, the fridge in our room froze everything in it . It was awful! We had brought food to use for breakfast and it was not edible due to being frozen.

We liked the courteousness and professionalism of the staff. The rooms were clean and we had no problems with the hotel at all. Very nice stay.

It was quite noisy-lots of traffic noise and the usual,l people slamming their room doors all night long. Breakfast was lacking-no fruit, empty chaffing dishes-not much of a selection.
