Great little stop over
Looking for a while to break up the drive coming back from Arkaroola and what a surprising find this was.Kids adored all the animals and played with the goats for as long as they could before dark.

We had a nice stay – the accommodation was warm and cozy, which was great given how cold the weather was! We really appreciated the board games and the well-equipped facilities. Katherine communicated clearly, especially around the drinking water, which was helpful.The goats being so close to the outdoor area was a bit unexpected and made us less inclined to use the space outside, though the weather probably would have kept us indoors anyway. Overall, a comfortable stay with some unique touches.

Excellent stay

Outback experience in comfort
Really enjoyed our short getaway at Katz Retreat. Accommodation has a character - used to be Sunday School house, which is next door to Willowie old church. It is very comfortable with all the bells and whistles. Awesome kitchen - lots of appliances to cook up a storm. Air conditioning works very well through the house.Goat farm and hence many goats, chickens, horses, etc. outside the sliding door adds a country charm experience. The host Katherine is a lovely human being. Thanks again for having us as your guests!

Katz Retreat is a lovely place to stay. The house is spacious and comfortable, Kat is very hospitable and it is wonderful to interact with all the animals in the yard.
It's about 20 minutes from Remarkable Ranges National Park. Just note: tap water is not suited for drinking, make sure you bring enough bottled water for drinking and cooking.

Beautiful place
Such a beautiful place….Katherine has been a great host, the place was so cozy and neat! So many cute goats and farm animals around- highly recommended!

Glorious location wonderful house
Unfortunately we only had one night here. Enough for one glorious sunset and one glorious sunrise. We loved the animals in the pens nearby and loved the fabulous kitchen. The host gave us some great insights into the history and geography of the countryside.
