The house is lovely! Stephanie is a wonderful cook and very helpful. She would offer dinner recommendations and always suggested reservations as most places required them. I would suggest asking for breakfast times/head count from the guests (the UK does this). This would help to keep from making too much food if people are not eating before checking out.

What am amazing place! It truly is a one of a kind experience. So much to see in the main rooms that was like a museum in itself. Everything was wonderful. Was supper clean. Checking in was simple and it’s on a great location. Host was very responsive. Highly recommend staying there. This is our forth time back.

Wat enorme gastvrijheid hebben wij ervaren in deze in koloniale stijl b&b, een mooie kamer met goede faciliteiten. Het heerlijke ontbijt de volgende dag was weliswaar pas om 8.30 maar we roken het al om 7.30, toen stond de eigenaresse al voor ons te koken en bakken een waar feest.

My wife and I were here the first week in November 2023. What a wonderful place! It’s cozy, quiet, and the attention to detail are stunning. Coffee and food are in a plentiful supply :-) Most importantly… the HOST! Stephanie is a national treasure. She makes you feel at home the second you get there. We’re not the most outgoing people, but we felt at home immediately. You can tell She loves what she does. And the breakfasts? We probably gained 10 lbs in 3 days lol! Everything you could imagine, fresh made daily! I didn’t wanna leave. The place is situated a few minutes (literally) from everything. All the tourist sites are 5-20 minutes away. Parking is ample. The beds are not too soft. The room furniture was comfortable. My only minor quibble would be the bathrooms. They are small and a little tough to navigate if you have physical issues like me. (A plunger would be handy -sorry bout that). But the house is probably 200 years old. So that’s expected. Everything else more than makes up for it. All in all, we traveled hundreds of miles to get here. And if we could, we’d bring Stephanie up North in a heartbeat! More bread pudding please!!! :-) 4 stars all the way around!

Un hôtel de charme de style colonial en parfait état,décoré avec grand soin d’oeuvres d’art de de pièces de collection rassemblées par le propriétaire Ike,jeune homme drôle et vif.La literie est hyper confortable,les meubles bien agencés et confortable.Nous avions la suite quel bonheur! De plus,ce manoir est situé à moins de 5 minutes du centre historique et à 10 minutes des services,dans un quartier cossu et tranquille.Et le petit déjeuner inclus est fabuleux!Parking devant la porte,tout est parfait,attentionné et soigné.N’hésitez pas! J’y passerais bien une semaine!

Always a pleasure to stay here - three times now. This is a beautifully decorated house that makes this holiday time of year special. Highly recommend and a sure thing when I return to Williamsburg.
