Excellent place to stay. Nicole and Malcolm make Craigmount so special. Book themed bedrooms to reflect Wigtown, and a lovely sitting room to read or eatch TV. Our double bedded room with ensuite overlooked the garden. The room was quite compact, and made more so by our largish suitcases. If you have big bags, perhaps book a family room. All the rooms are accessible via stairs. The pre-ordered breakfast was freshly cooked and wonderful. Dinner options in town or nearby were limited, except to drive, especially mid-week. Nicole offers a simple evening meal option of a choice of a few home cooked meals, to eat in the dining room. We had her delicious chicken curry one night. BYO drinks. Both Nicole and Malcolm were great sources of local information, and really helpful. Excellent place to stay.

This was a great expierence. The room was exceptionally clean and the owners were some of the nicest people i've ever met in my travels. Would highly recommend to family and friends. I will be back.
