The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed. The toilets and shower blocks were very well kept and clean. Perfect for what we needed as we only stayed one night but would be put off by the lack of privacy /pods facing each other etc if was to consider returning, which is a shame.

The bathrooms were absolutely filthy. There were snails on the walls and spiders in the corners. I spent the night holding in the toilet as I couldn’t bring myself to get up and use them again. When I went to try have a shower in the morning the shower head was lying on the floor in a pile of dirt and grass, so I had to leave for my 4 hour drive ahead unshowered. Everyone who is leaving reviews saying the facilities are clean must have a very different idea of clean than me, I can promise they were disgusting. I only wish I got photos but I spent an accumulative 30 seconds in the dirty toilets over my nights stay. To call this glamping is a massive stretch, it’s sleeping in a shed with a heater. Wouldn’t have paid a tenth of the price I did if I realised how appalling it would be when I arrived. The price I paid isn’t far off what a hotel in the city centre would have been, it’s ridiculous.
