惠蒂爾希爾頓逸林飯店(Doubletree by Hilton Whittier)

Very relaxing hotel in very good location !

Whenever I travel to the area, Doubletree is my place to stay. Sadly, I was very disappointed with my recent stay and realized the property and its infrastructure is old. Due to issues with cleanliness, they switched our room minutes after settling into it. The new room wasn’t much better as we discovered on our second day…it had an electrical outlet box that was loose from the wall (a real safety concern) because it had been jimmy rigged to stay in place. The only good thing about our stay was the front desk was responsive about the inconveniences we encountered and did a good job compensating us for it. Next visit though, I may have to consider another Doubletree property to stay at. Their rates shouldn’t come with these types of inconveniences IMO.

I didn't like that i booked a king room and when i arrived here i got moved to a double Full size and when i said then ill take a queen room. She correct herself and said it is a queen room( not queen) bathroom was dirty with hair in the drain and on the handy cap bench in the shower.

Room maintenance not kept up. Electrical plug prongs in console outlets between beds were so loose, plugs kept falling out and did not make contact, making them non-functional. The safe was defective and did not work. One of the taps was loose. Not the standard I expect from Hilton.

I couldn't be more disappointed with the experience 5 minutes after I checked in I was informed by the front desk that the water would be shut off from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. that totally interrupted the schedule I had for today, the pool is murky, and also they had the pool entry closed off where we had to enter the pool a different way which actually was by where the plumbers apparently were working it was a mess, and my son and I got bit by mosquitoes in the room I would like my money back or a comp stay at a nicer hotel I'll be calling corporate.

There was a beehive, I was wondering why when I went to the pool and nobody was there till I seen more than 20 bees around the pool area? and they are neglecting the pest problem . I got stung by a bee no compensation Was addressed. Another customer that was staying there got bit in the face three times By bees manager on site, said that he couldn’t do anything to compensate my stay even though I couldn’t go to my event the next day because I was in pain and on medication …Benadryl
