Very nice the hotel owner. When you come to the hotel he would introduce the facilities of the hotel for you.

This is a fantastic guest house. It’s in a very central location near the shops, pubs , restaurants and beach. We had a very warm welcome and were told about nearby pubs and restaurants. There is a great information pack giving lots of valuable information. The room was so smart, spacious with a comfy bed and quality bed linen. The bathroom has lots of toiletries in case you’ve forgotten any. It’s spotless and stylish. The breakfast was first class with lots of choice . Can’t wait to come back.

Excellent location short 3/4 minute walk to everything beach, restaurants, shops etc. Paul and Lee are great hosts and very helpful with information of things to do in the local area. The welcome pack in the room is full of great tips of places to visit. The room was a great size with comfy bed great shower tea coffee bottled water hairdryer soft towels and very clean. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of choice.

We had a warm welcome from our host's, Lee & Paul who gave us a great guide of the surrounding area of pubs,eateries and walks,also the room's where decorated to a high standard, very comfortable bed too and to finish our stay we had a fantastic breakfast with a multiple choices, we highly recommend this place .

The warmest of welcomes from Lee and Paul, after a long old drive from Lancashire for the Bay Tales event. The whole property has been decorated to such a high standard, with some unique touches and works of art that stay *just* the right side of quirky 😁. The room was spacious , spotlessly clean and the beds? So, so comfortable. I rarely sleep well away from home but it's possible I actually had a better night's sleep here. We didn't have the cooked breakfast, but only because of my annoying allergies. My mouth was watering when I say the plates of those that did. Highly recommend staying here should you visit this lovely part of the country.

Very comfortable. Smashing full English breakfast. Service brilliant. Recommended a taxi service, and taxi went out of his way to help. Would recommend. Beds comfortable, had the top room on third floor, no lift, but we are ok with stairs, two double beds, very comfortable beds.

Fabulous hosts. Well styled accommodation with attention to detail for guests’ needs. Fabulous breakfast.

Overnight stay but 5 mins to Metro station right by the coast had a nice morning walk along the coastal path. Clean friendly and just what i wanted again. Good breakfast in the morning set me up for the day. Until the next time.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Metropolitan. We were warmly welcomed, the accommodation was fantastic and the breakfast was superb. The guest house is in a great location, convenient for the bars and restaurants, and close to the sea.
