Unbelievable experience. We booked this for my wife's 50th birthday and 12 friends, with a winetasting experience followed by dinner in the cowshed room and drinks and a party after. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel right at home by Steve , Jackie and Kevin, who met us so warmly and then went out of their way to make sure this was a special experience for my wife and friends. I should have known as Steve in the weeks before was brilliant in helping to organise. Steve and Jackie when first meeting them, made us feel like we had been friends for years. Kevin led us on the wine tasting and what a star -- so knowledgable but with great stories and just a lovely , very funny guy who looked after oursleves brilliantly over the two days. The cowshed room takes your breath away , a stunning room with an open fire. The food-- out of this world, locally produced, and world class taste-- everyone said the food was stunning and this includes breakfast. In the night we ended up with one of our guests who is in a band playing what turned into a full on gig , guitar and singing-- no problem for Jabajak team-- who basically said enjoy its your party. Great selection of rum at the bar as well. Next morning Steve and Kevin emphasised no rush to leave , and we ended up staying for coffees all morning and nearly stayed for sunday lunch which looked stunning. -- and I haven't even mentioned the rooms, which were fab as well , beautifully done out , keeping old features with the new . The location and view of the vine yard is amazing and sat outside with a drink, you feel so chilled out. So as you can tell we were very impressed, Steve, Jackie and Kevin- make you feel special , they are warm genuine people backed up as well by brilliant staff who were alll fab. If you want a special night away or go for a brilliant meal-- I cannot recommend any higher. We will be back shortly.

Stunning setting. Extremely comfortable rooms. Ate in the restaurant on Friday evening and again on the Sunday lunchtime. Food was excellent and perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend a visit here, be it to stay and/or just eat. Big shout out to Steve and Jackie who went above and beyond. Perfect hosts. Thank you

My partner and I stayed at Jabajak for three nights and it was absolutely incredible! We both had the most magical time and cannot recommend it more! The owners Steve and Jackie were so welcoming and accommodating. They both went out of their way several times to make our visit so memorable. The beautiful surrounding scenery is breath-taking - rolling hills of greenery, gorgeous wildflowers and local wildlife. We saw various types of birds, wild rabbits, butterflies and frogs. As nature lovers we were in our element! The cosy room was just perfect and we had everything we needed. Our bedroom view overlooked a farm field and the sunset was like an oil painting. We dined on Saturday night in the restaurant and it was top notch! The setting is romantic and perfect for couples and/or groups of friends. The head chef is something else! We highly recommend the Spring Vegetable Risotto and mouth-watering Wild Boar (Special of The Day). The service, presentation and quality is of the highest. Breakfast should not be missed as we both indulged and loved the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royal. The local sourced eggs and ingredients certainly make such a difference. Simply divine! The bar area is perfect to relax and socialize. There's a wonderful selection of drinks including local cider and of course Jabajak's own wine, which was the perfect accompaniment to our superb dinner. Such an amazing night away with friends!! First time visiting and it certainly won't be our last!! After checking in, we sat in the sun having drinks and the host brought us blankets as it was getting a bit chilly. We stayed in the Garden Suite which was beautiful, two huge windows overlooking the front and vineyard. There was a Tassimo coffee machine, orange juice, fresh milk and water in the fridge. As we were staying as a group of 10, we had the Cowshed private dining room which was really special. The attention to detail was exceptional. I had pan-fried scallops in a wild mushroom sauce for starters and for mains I had monkfish tails on a bed of Indian spiced dhal and poppadom. Both were absolutely delicious and they were able to cater for me being gluten free. Absolutely can't wait to visit again!

Rooms brilliantly clean. Welcome outstanding. Food exceptional. No hesitation in recommending and will definitely return. The vineyard talk is fascinating and the views incredible. It is truly a hidden gem.

We have just got back from a lovely overnight stay celebrating our wedding anniversary. Both the evening meal and breakfast the following day were excellent with good quality tasty produce. The wines were yummy and the room (we stayed in the Grain Store room) was comfortable with nice touches provided (we appreciated the complementary port!). Steve was a welcoming host. The place itself has a lovely relaxing vibe and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sunny weather and peaceful surroundings. We will definitely return and are happy to recommend.
