Thoroughly enjoyed our stay as owners we’re always filled with trepidation first time at a resort, however we were filled with gasps on entering our apartment. Spacious clean well orientation of the rooms super super fancy. Probably sleep 6-8 easily QS bed,two single beds,two sofa beds. The place was huge, washing machine & dryer. Great kitchen with dishwasher. However we were on the second floor and there are no lifts. Great gym & swimming pool. Staff are so accommodating and helpful. Don’t want to dwell on the negatives just minor things, 1) no lift 2) 10-15 minutes from Esplanade where all the restaurant are etc. 3) No restaurant downstairs but you can order toasties, etc. Cairns has many attractions: Kuranda Scenic Rail Skyrail Hartleys Crocodile Adventures Port Douglas Cape Tribulation Daintree Forest Definitely returning. Really beautiful room. The pool area is gorgeous. And nothing was too much trouble for the lovely reception staff. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone needing accommodation in Cairns. Thank you so much!

We enjoyed 10 days at Trinity as part of our timeshare ownership. We had a one bedroom apartment that was very spacious and was well provisioned with cooking equipment. We were on the 3rd floor and could choose to use either the stairs or lift. Laundry was only a couple of doors along the corridor. The pool was a real delight and was well shaded for most of the day to escape too much sun. You do need a car. We drove to Cape tribulation one day, Mosman gorge another and enjoyed the delicious restaurants around town. Salsa was a highlight with Sangria and paella - only choose the small size as it is adequate for 2! The Tin shed is a great location, but further along the same road you will find the local yacht club. A smaller menu but still good fun. An early morning start is to buy prawns from the trawler at the public wharf. You will know if they are in town as there will be signs everywhere. Eating at the Resort is an option. We had several dinners there and enjoyed coffee most mornings reading the local paper to catch up on local events. A great holiday for children, and the pool is big enough for room for all - even a swim up bar. A very relaxing and enjoyable time.

This place looked wonderful, but it ended up being one of the worst places I’ve stayed at. I have asthma and saw on *********** that they had non-smoking rooms, however, what I experienced was very disappointing. I couldn’t breath properly the entire time I stayed there due to second-hand smoke from other guests/residents (?) coming onto my balcony and into the unit. I would think there would be some rule or something to stop cigarette smokers from smoking right outside their apartment and effecting everyone else, especially for people like myself. I wish I could say I had a nice experience, but the smoking effected my entire stay. :((

This resort is quite a way of of town. It has pleasant tropical pool areas viewed from unit balconies. It is rather dated and could do with renovations. Spacious units though with pleasant balconies.

From the moment of check-in to the time of check out, we had a lovely weeks break at this beautiful resort. We had a motor vehicle, so getting around was not a problem, with the resort in an idyllic tropical setting away from the bustle of the city, but still only a short drive from all facilities. All the staff were super friendly and efficient, nothing a problem, and we'll be sure to look at returning to this property if deciding to visit Cairns again in the future.
