🍁 Huckleberry Cabin - wifi, Fireplace, fire pit, VIEWS! Only 3 miles To Helen!

Late July stay Check-in was good. Codes easy. Kitchen: sink & fridge clean. Under sink dirty, trash can layered with dirt, Oven dirty. Bathrooms clean and linen very good. Linens and bedcovers were good quality Dishes had a lot of chips in them, very few side plates. There was no dish soap so used liquid hand soap to wash the dishes.Wi-Fi excellent.Cleaning company is letting the owners down. The cold air return was full of dust and dirt. Area behind the TV dusty as well. upper sills on windows all dusty. We found the vacuum and cleaned out the cold air return, for our health and comfort. Oven had debris caked on the bottom. We reached out to the owner when we arrived and explained a few details but got a generic response. The toasters operation was erratic only one side worked. During our stay the TV sound bar stopped working. The first step leading to the front porch sagged badly and had nails protruding, leaving a possible safety hazard. The owner was notified immediately shortly after we arrived. Nothing was done during our stay to remedy these items.The table outside on the deck needs some work as the plywood on the top is bubbling and slivering. The rocking chairs are dirty and require sanding and repainting.The property has a wonderful view off the back deck, however it is starting to show its age. A little attention to detail and some TLC could move this property from good to great. We were just wondering when the last time that the owner was at the property.

The cabin is located in a great spot that’s easy to find and get too. Just a few minutes from Cleveland for groceries or coffee and a few minutes from Helen. Nice view from the porch and deer were walking through the property daily. Quiet area. Everything we needed as far as kitchen ware and bathroom supplies was there. Furniture was clean and all beds were comfortable. Hot tub was clean and working.Owner responded within minutes to an issue with the tv. Reason for 4 stars not 5 is that the outside property (driveways, fire pits, porches) could use a bit more attention and cleaning before guests arrive.

Home in the woods A very comfortable place, with home vibes. Watching the sunset from the terrace was one of my favorite things... Plus, the hosts are just a text away, very attentive. Don't hesitate to spend your vacation here!

This cabin was amazing and the host was very accommodating. Beautiful views, very relaxing atmosphere. It’s a very short drive to Helen. I will stay here again!

Peaceful Getaway I’m a mom of 7 and needed a week long getaway to just relax and take time for myself. I chose this cabin because of the quiet location as well as the views. The cabin had everything I needed for my stay and had plenty of space even if I had wanted to take my family (maybe next time ). There were plenty of dishes to to cook my meals and it was peaceful to sit out on the patio and read without distractions while looking at the BEAUTIFUL view. The town was about 10 minutes and had plenty of restaurants, stores, gift shops and many outdoor activities. I really enjoyed my time at this cabin and hope to come back and bring my family next time.

The best cabin getaway The huckleberry cabin was stunning! Just like the photos, but better. Close to town. I loved the privacy and the views were incredible. Also a great kitchen with everything you could need and more. Hot tub is a must, weather permitting. Lee was super helpful with recommendations. Would definitely stay again!
