Lovely stay, it was good to visit you in England. We had a pleasant business trip because of your warm hospitality.

We attended a wedding reception at this hotel, and stayed one night. It’s a lovely hotel set in pretty grounds.

Dining in the bar a little uncomfortable as the seating is not really designed to eat from. Staff were good providing extra cushions for the low chairs. Not enough bar staff on so items missed and a vegetarian chilli served in error instead of the pulled beef and they did take some persuading to change it. Room was small but adequate and bed comfortable. At trip price £90 value for money. Not at the normal B&B rate of £140

Staff in the bar were good but that’s the only real positive, as expected very expensive. Took 45 minutes to make a sandwich. Breakfast was really poor think little chef self serve. Coffee was dreadful asked for a cappuccino instead told unavailable then saw other tables ordered them. All juice ran out no glasses had to use a mug for water. Paid about 25 pounds each x 7. Poor service poor quality. I have stayed before and it Was fabulous what a shame don’t waste your money
