For being quite a new hotel,poor to see curtain hanging off the rail ,room was cold despite heating set at 27,power card holder damaged,was fixed with a bit sellotape and the mattress was very hard,didn't sleep well.Only two teabags for a cuppa,come on,thats just not on in this day and age.Carvery meal very bland,veg all overcooked and soggy.Won't be using this place again.

Very disappointed with the bedroom facilities. Hanging and storage space virtually non-existant. Maybe ok for a one-night stay, certainly not for 6 nights. Difficult to live out of a suitcase for 6 nights. NO shelf space in bathroom to set any washing/shaving/teeth cleaning materials. A room with 2 beds and one chair. Very disappointing.

Ok place, but very bad customer service.

I stayed two nights. My room wasn’t cleaned on my day 2. I tried to call to ask for a cleaner but I couldn’t reach any one!

Very friendly team, comfy, clean accommodation. If I’m in West Lothian, I will definitely stay there again

The place itself is nice but the mattresses weren't the best. The two singles in our room were too the point that the springs could be felt. Double was good however. Bathroom was generally clean however round the toilet seat was still dirty round the hinges and the toilet seat came wasn't properly attached.

Great hotel amd used bar and played pool. Great staff and atmosphere defo be back

Stayed one night while visiting Edinburgh, very clean & comfortable family room and within driving distance of train station with easy access to Edinburgh. Highly recommend for people wanting to visit Edinburgh but perhaps not stay in Edinburgh

My two daughters and I had a great night’s stay at this lovely hotel. We visited Scotland to attend Comicon, snd we chose this hotel as the photos and reviews looked brilliant. My eldest daughter needs to use a wheelchair and the staff there, especially the amazing Bobby, went above and beyond being helpful, attentive and friendly. Due to the torrential rain and floods on the day we had travel back home, and there not being any rooms available for us to stay an extra night, Bobby called round all the hotels on our behalf and finally found one for us. He really was a wonderful human being who deserves the world.
