切普瓦尼私人島嶼飯店

Pretty average place, especially with the above average price. Everything is kind of worn out, pool ain't clean, rooms not that private, since its basically twin huts. Most surprising is the part Italian ownership and a complete lack of ability to cook pasta al dente.

First sight was stunning and first day a very good experience, but we had a few unpleasant surprises during the beginning of our stay. First we had a fan that did not work, a bed that broke down and 2 out of 3 bathroom with almost no water running. Together with lack of information (I dont blame the resort for this but our travel company) about the tide, that made it difficult to swim in the ocean for almost 5 hours every day and a not that clean pool, and almost same food every day, we were ready to change hotel/resort after 3 days. I talked to the manager and they fixed every issue (unfortunately they could not fix the tide :-) ) and we found out that we was able to order other than the menu. The manager also said according to some of our "complaints" that : We dont have flatscreen or aircondition, because this is another kind of resort....My comment to this was, we do have some expectations when we pay about 150 dollars p.p. a nigth and one of our expectations is that its not up to which person of the staff you talk to to decide the price of the service. We got 3 different prices for both handling/wash of clothes and for the boat service, if it was not possible to go back on schedule with the boat. But after this conversation, we did enjoy the rest of our stay, but if we come back, it will not be for more than 3 days, but we were also 6 adults and mostly enjoyed swimming in the sea. The bungalows were nice and good cleaning every day even after 2 stormy nights with sand all over in the bungalows.

The island is beautiful, but unfortunately the hotel is not family friendly. We traveled with our five-year-old and she had a lot of difficulty sleeping due to the heat at night (there is no AC and the ceiling fan turns off during night time). Food is also only available three times a day, and when we asked to buy snacks in between meals the staff got angry and said that they were preparing for dinner. The staff is rude and not service minded at all. We booked four nights, but after very little sleep (due to a sad little girl) and the lack of food we couldn’t stay the last two nights. When we asked to leave early, the management wouldn’t help us out with any refund and were very unpleasant. The hotel is also run down, you are very close to the other guests (no privacy at all) and the pool is very dirty. Would not recommend this hotel!

Pleasant and peaceful place, but the menu at the restaurant is expensive and not inspiring at all, 12 USD for a bowl of plain pasta. The bills for the drinks are not transparent as you don’t get an overview for signing after each meal. Would opt for another resort if in Zanizabr again.

C'était incroyable ! Nous étions vraiment perdues au milieu de nulle part : de la mer, des palmiers, juste ça. Nous avons pu nous endormir avec le bruit des vagues, boire et manger des coco : c'était juste le rêve. Et un gros + pour la nourriture !

Excellent hotel pour se déconnecter et se reposer au milieu de l'océan indien ! Restaurant impécable, lodge super bien situé sur la plage (idéal pour voir le coucher de soleil, se réveiller par le bruit des vagues), piscine avec eau de mer géniale. Un endroit paradisiaque avec plein de cocotiers !
