Another amazing stay with Travelodge this time at Markham Moor. Staff were lovely quiet location always clean and comfortable. Ideal location for me only 5 mins drive to get to theatre.

As I was admitted to hospital, we were unable to use our booking, so cannot comment on the location, cleanliness, service or facilities. Had we been provided with a working telephone number for the hotel, we would have done the courtesy of letting them know. I suppose I could have made up a glowing review, to earn the 50 Trip coin bonus. Is offering a reward for a review a bribe?

Excellent friendly staff very helpful and cheerful, telling me about local restaurants and taxis, rooms very clean bathroom clean comfortable beds I had a quite room had the best sleep on leaving the mangers was very polite and wish me a safe journey which I thought that was very nice I would recommend this travelode.

We were checked in by Lisa H, an excellent, knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly lady. She provided us with an extra fan and an extension lead for my husbands CPAP machine. The travelodge is a roadside one and seemingly not one likely to receive updating which is a shame as we are the same people who use your city locations and enjoy your super rooms. The bathrooms are desperately in need of updating as are the power supplies in the bedrooms. I mentioned the extension lead as there are not power points bedside. Many of your visitors will need this for CPAP, often both of the adults. An extension lead is a fire hazard overloading one socket. The beds are not comfortable and yet we paid city prices to stay. Even at a Saver rate of 60.99. We were stranded on the A1 with our breakdown so this was an emergency booking for 2 rooms. Your staff are exemplary and served us with such care. But the old little chef at the front is clearly being used as a **** factory so they are having to use very strong air fresheners to cover the heavy smell of **** throughout the entire place. It triggered a bad asthma attack for me. It is beyond your staffs control. But not your regional manager. They should be acting with the local police to remove this and you should be investing in this wonderful asset staffed by a brilliant team. They deserve better, so do your visitors.

Dribbling toilet was noisy, disturbed our our sleep; everything else was great. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly.

The room was spacious and clean. Had the basic needs for an overnight stay. The additional pillows were a bonus. The receptionist Lisa H was very friendly and helpful. We needed extra milk for the room and Lisa obliged with more than enough. Thank you
