Schwefel Geruch auf dem Parkplatz , Nicht mal die Eingangstür zur Rezeption schließt vollständig . Der gesamte Eingangsbereich voller Spinnenweben und dreck . Fenster seit Monaten vielleicht Jahren nicht geputzt . Kein housekeeping , es werden nur die Handtücher getauscht auf Nachfrage . Zimmer wird während des Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Wirkt auch nicht so wäre das vor dem Aufenthalt passiert . Alles ist abgenutzt , die Toilette ist nicht mehr richtig an der wand befestigt . Das Bad schimmelt an jeder Ecke , mehr Schimmel als Fliesen . Der Teppich verschmutzt und das bei Preisen die unvorstellbar hoch sind . Das Geld fließt scheinbar nur in die Tasche von Travelodge denn mitarbeite die bezahlt werden gibt es maximal einen pro Schicht . Ich habe mich selten mehr vor etwas geekelt als vor diesem Hotel . Preis Leistung passt nicht . Und die negativen Dinge aus Bewertungen von 2016 kann ich alle bestätigen . Es wird nichts geändert . Die Gäste werden völlig ausgeraubt bei dem Preis Leitungswasser Verhältnis . Ich wünsche niemandem hier mehr als 2 Tage zu verbringen .

Arrived on a very hot day after a six hour journey. Nice stroll around the little walk, which has nice views. The eatery next door offered good gluten free brownies and food was a sensible price. Essex garage on site had well priced fuel too. An enjoyable stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to use this travel lodge again in future. If I was being picky I’d like to see USB charging ports next to the bed but that’s a minor point

hotel was well situated and good value for money. our room was clean, comfortable and quiet but the entrance was a bit tatty. other reviews say that rooms were smelly which i could quite believe as a lot of people smoke at the front door (which they are perfectly entitled to do) and I guess the odour is carried in. unforyneately guests smoke int heir rooms as one evening the smell was almost overwheleming on the staircase besides it being illegal. we spoke to staff about this who took this serously. our own room was very good, clean and quiet, so i suggest you ask for a room upstais and at the back of the hotel. we stayed for a week and would stay again.

Receptionist is nice and helpful. The beds are comfortable and clean. The tea/coffee making facilities are ok. Bathrooms ok. WiFi is patchy. Hotel is getting shabby. Located very close to mini Morrisons, Greggs and Costa. Post Inn is walking distance and serves food some of which is good.

Nice location free parking. room we're bit smelly and spiders on corridors. Rest of the them is very good.

A very tired lodge that needs a good renovation and much more comfortable beds. Attention to detail lacking and sadly no longer good value for money.
