Shop, grocery, restaurant, bakery 200 m, 4 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.2 km, railway station "Wengen" 200 m, outdoor swimming pool 250 m. Cable car, mountain railway, skisport facilities 200 m, children's playground 250 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. "Elisabeth", 2-room apartment 34 m2, on the ground floor. Renovated in 2022, comfortable and cosy furnishings: open living/sleeping room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm), TV. Small kitchen-/living room (oven, dishwasher, 2 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra). Shower/WC. Small patio, west facing position. Beautiful view of the mountains. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Perhaps its just me being an American. We obviously don’t have chalets in the US but we only got 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 7 night stay. Bed was comfortable. Wengen train is a 5 min walk. Close to coop grocery store which is surprisingly open on Sundays & restaurants are open late as well. Chalet Elisabeth is one of the places we stayed in during our 3 week stay in Switzerland & overall, we enjoyed it.

V.a. in der Küche fühlten wir uns sehr wohl, nicht nur zum Kochen und Essen, sondern auch einfach zum Zusammensitzen am Abend.Sie war sauber und sehr gut ausgerüstet, und auch an Dekoration war einiges vorhanden.
