I encouraged my cyclist friends to reserve here for the first night of our group ride on the Ohio to Erie Trail. Prior to our start date, I rode the path to Waynesville, with my husband and a participant, to be sure everything was in order and confirmed with the desk/cleaning person we all were on their booking schedule. This was our first lodging for the week. What resulted was not what I had hoped for, which was a great first night experience. When we arrived, one room for the participant who ride up with me to confirm arrangements earlier had been cancelled; "check in" was a key in an envelope in an open alcove, with a magic marker note that the emergency # should not be called because 'covid,' and another room's shower was completely shut off/useless/inoperable. With no one available to help us out, either in person or by phone, we made do. Although we're all good friends, the "single" person offered her "extra" bed to the cyclist with the cancellation and her shower to the two people who were waterless, going WAY beyond reasonable expectations. I do not recommend this lodging. For anyone.

only real downside i found during my stay was the lack of wifi, other then that i really enjoyed my stay.

Charming motel in a cute and quiet town. Lovely Amish furnishings. Easy check in and out. Close to downtown shops and restaurants.
